Melinda Sargent has been a nature and wildlife photographer for over a decade. She also has a degree in Physics from University of California Irvine. After graduation she worked for Professor Roland who recieved a Nobel Prize for his work in Atmospheric Chemistry and the Ozone hole. By sharing her skills as a nature photographer she hopes to help others improve their nature photography as well.
Since most nature photographers are very interested in preserving natural habitats there are several articles that explain atmospheric chemistry and how the basics work. There will be more articles on this topic. There are also articles with images on some natural habitates in the Los Angeles area that have been preserved and are great photographic opportunities. There is even an article on one farm that is helping to encourage wildlife and it may seem counter intuitive but it is work and wildlife is thriving.
If there are any topics that you would like Melinda to explain or show through photography please let us know. We will be more then happy to share.
Happy photos
