California Poppies are an incredible wildflower in California. It is also the state flower. When conditions are right the hills in the state of California turn a bright orange. It is an incredible site to see.
This image was taken durning this year, 2008, Poppy season in Lake Elisinore region. It was a short lived season in that region but it was spectactular.
